Venus - Wireless GSM Alarm System

This GSM wireless intruder alarm system, simply requires a pay as you go sim card and the intruder alarm will work using the mobile network and does not require a telephone line. So this security alarm is ideal for where no phone line exists or hard to get one to. Furthermore the use of a mobile network instead of a BT phone line, means that in the event of the burglar entering the premises and cutting the telephone line the alarm would not be affected and still work as it does not require the use of a phone line. The alarm can either be remotely operated with the control key fobs provided (that will arm and disarm the alarm), alternatively the alarm can be controlled using a mobile phone from wherever you are in the world by SMS. A pin code must be entered to provide security for access to the alarm.

The GSM alarm system incorporates a 24 hr life back up battery to safeguard the intruder alarm from the affects of power cuts being both from natural power failures or from a burglar cutting the electric cable on entry to a building.

You will receive a SMS message if the power is cut or there is a natural failure and a SMS to tell you when power has been restored.

This GSM wireless security alarm will support all types of wireless sensors, for example PIR detectors, door sensors, smoke sensors, beams, gas sensors and panic buttons.

Programming of the GSM wireless security alarm is simple with just a few simple SMS text message needing to be sent to the GSM alarm, which is an easy process to carry out by yourself.

If the wireless GSM alarm is triggered, the alarm immediately starts to phone one of upto five numbers which can be stored in the alarm, giving a short message that the alarm has gone off and the alarm will phone each number until a response is issued to stop the alarm.

This wireless GSM alarm provides the option for you to listen in via phone to the immediate area of the alarm. With this alarm you can also wire in wired sensors which you may already have. It has 16 Wireless zones and 3 wired zones.

1 x Wireless PIR motion detector with up to 12 metre detection distance to detect any movement within the room/area it is fitted.

1 x Siren with a volume of 110dB, which gets sent out from the alarm when triggered.
